Labyrinthwalk
"The Labyrinth has proven to be a wonderful and effective instrument to connect to my intuitive wisdom inside... Lots of pieces of the puzzle were suddenly in the right place. Thank you Chantal and Anneliese for constructing this beautiful piece in Antwerp". Alain
In a maze you may get lost; in a labyrinth you can only find yourself...
As the world around us becomes more chaotic, we are encouraged to choose practices that order our thoughts and quiet our mind. The labyrinth is an ancient pattern found in many cultures around the world. Labyrinth designs were found on pottery, tablets and tiles that date as far back as 5000 years. Many patterns are based on spirals and circles mirrored in nature. Labyrinth walking has gained in importance over the last few years as a metaphor for walking towards the essence of your life and as a powerful way for transformation. It gives you possibilities to search for answers that transcend your normal way of thinking.
The labyrinth is not a maze. There are no tricks to it and no dead ends. It has a single circuitous path that winds its way into the center. The person walking it uses the same path to return from the center and the entrance then becomes the exit. The path is in full view, which allows a person to be quiet and focus internally.
Qlickcoaching uses the labyrinth as part of its individual coahing process as well as for group sessions. The labyrinth is used as a metaphor for the search for the essence (of a question, issue or life in general), for obstacles that you encounter on your path, for acquiring new insights, for observing your life from the outside etc.
When Qlickcoaching uses the labyrinth for teams and companies it is used as a way to reach the essence of the company vision. Team members all walk to the essence of the company vision but everyone at his or her own pace and in in their own way. Convergent thinking, innovation and decision making power are a few of the many other applications which are stimulated while walking the labyrinth.
At your request, we are happy to make a proposal to optimally align the use of the labyrinth with the specific needs of your company.
The Magazine for the Coaching Industry "Coaching at Work" published our article about the Labyrinthwalk in their March-April edition. You can read it here.
